Regional Teams

Iceni Homes’ Head Office and operational base is situated in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Iceni also have offices in Colchester and Cambridge.

Bury St Edmunds:

Philip Murton
Philip Murton is the Regional Development Director at Iceni Homes covering Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk. His role includes identifying new business opportunities, negotiating new contracts and overseeing the successful delivery of the on-going programmes. Philip began his career in the strategic housing department for a local authority and has a business degree and postgraduate diploma in Housing.  He has worked for Iceni Homes since its inception in August 2004. Philip is based in the Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge offices.

Nathan Cole
Nathan Cole is a Project Manager covering schemes for the Suffolk and Norfolk region. His remit at Iceni Homes includes overseeing on-site developments, assisting with development work and new contracts and developing schemes from inception. Nathan Cole has a degree in Building Surveying and has over seven years experience in the housing sector, working most recently as a lettings manager.

Deborah Croll
Deborah Croll is the Office Manager for Iceni Homes and PA to the Managing Director. Her remit is to manage the office in Bury St Edmunds and support the administrative needs of the Company. Deborah brings to the post considerable experience of the housing sector in Suffolk, which will enhance Iceni at the forefront of the affordable homes market.

Colchester:

Steve Heywood
Steve Heywood is the Regional Director for Essex. Staffordshire-born Steve, a former Senior Business Development Manager for Places for People in Norwich, brings over 20 years experience in housing to his role.

Steve’s remit includes generating business to meet the strategic needs of Iceni Homes, managing existing housing projects and working on new development schemes and opportunities. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building.

Robert Frost
Robert Frost is Project Manager for Iceni Homes covering schemes in Essex. His role includes overseeing on-site developments, assisting with development work and new contracts and developing schemes from inception. Robert’s previous post was at Trevor Benton Construction Ltd where he worked as Contract Manager looking after response maintenance contracts for Babergh District Council and Sanctuary Housing Association.

Debbie Blacow
Debbie Blacow is a Development Officer for Iceni Homes. Working for the Company for over seven years, Debbie’s remit includes supporting the Project Manager to ensure all schemes are completed to a high standard.  In addition Debbie acts as the main contact point for Iceni Homes in relation to the HCA's IMS system.

Amy Saunders
Amy is a part-time administrator for Iceni Homes based in our Colchester office.  Amy has a wealth of administration skills built up over 7 consecutive years working for local companies.  She also has experience dealing with customers/tenants reporting defects/complaints and has an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel including developing spread sheets. Iceni are delighted to have Amy as part of our Colchester Office and are assured that her administration skills and customer service knowledge will be put to good use as part of Iceni’s Development Team.

Cambridge:

Samantha Moor
Samantha Moor is Project Manager for Iceni Homes covering schemes in Cambridgeshire. Previously, she had worked for Hundred Houses Society for eight years as Project Administrator for the development and maintenance departments. She then became Development Officer prior to becoming Project Manager. Before joining Hundred Houses, Samantha was a civil servant working for the Benefits Agency in Cambridge. Sam oversees on-site developments, assisting with development work and developing schemes from inception.

Heather Macbeth-Hornett
Heather is a part-time administrator for Iceni Homes, based at our office in Cambridge.  Heather joined Iceni in July 2011.  She has Pitmans secretarial qualifications in typing, word processing and shorthand and has passed the European Computer Driving Licence.  She also has a degree in humanities and social studies.  She has worked both in the public and private sector, including working for Kershaw Mechanical Services and Addenbrookes Hospital.  Heather has been a voluntary worker helping at two local schools and was a member of a residents group in Cambridge for several years.
