Iceni Homes Developments

Iceni Homes prides itself on delivering high-quality affordable housing and meeting the needs of the local community in the East of England. Iceni develops a wide range of types and tenure including rural housing, supported housing, regeneration projects, Section 106 schemes, shared ownership, shared equity, housing for market rent and sale, intermediate rent, key worker accommodation and conversion of existing dwellings and refurbishments.

Sustainability

Iceni Homes plays its full part in all aspects of affordable housing and, as a result, contributes to the sustainable communities programme. Providing high-quality homes for all sectors of the community is at the core of Iceni Homes’ work.

The sustainability agenda is high on our priority list. We understand and work to the principles of sustainability using the widest range of new technologies including ground and air source heat pumps, solar panels and wind turbines. We address and analyse our environmental practices in all our policies and planning. Alongside our contractors, we work to protect the environment looking at the sites that our homes are built on, the materials of which they are made, and the uses their occupants make of resources such as energy and water.

Each scheme is assessed on its own merits for the technologies used and the best solution is implemented. We use both traditional build and modern methods of construction to ensure all our developments are compliant with the green agenda. We take our environmental responsibilities very seriously and assess the impact of our developments at the feasibility, design and construction stages.

Iceni Homes is fully committed to working to high-quality standards including Secure by Design, Lifetime Homes, Code for Sustainable Homes and the Homes and Community Agency’s Design and Quality Standards.

Exemplar Schemes

Iceni Homes has a strong reputation for creating flagship developments across the East of England and creates approximately 300 affordable homes every year. Using our experience and expertise in providing high-quality affordable homes to address local housing needs, we create developments including housing through Section 106 agreements (both with and without grants), regeneration schemes working with local authorities, rural schemes including rural exception sites in partnership with Parish Councils, specialist housing schemes including supported housing alongside other agencies including health and social services.
